Hi, I’m Dylan.
I’m a queer trans freelance writer and email marketer based in Brooklyn, NY.
I currently write copy for a major personality brand. This includes one-time, monthly, and lifecycle email marketing campaigns as well as lead magnets and sales pages. I also maintain their email list of approximately 550,000 subscribers.
I also write about writing, copywriting, creativity, personal growth, psychology, and marketing. I send these short essays, reflections, and lessons to my email list.
Before I started writing full-time, I worked for 8+ years in book publishing. I’ve been a production editor at Workman Publishing, a proofreader at Penguin Random House, and a copyeditor at Greenleaf Publishing.

I grew up in backwoods North Carolina. I married a native New Yorker.
I’m a dog person. My dog’s name is Fish. He’s a border collie mix.
My wife and I are in the local bocce league. We’re pretty good!
I read a lot. Some of my favorites from this year: Very Good Copy (it changed the way I think about writing), North Woods (it’s so beautiful, and a little creepy), and Death Valley (it really made me laugh).
